About the role

CRISTA Ministries is a Christian church community that exists to exercise and express its Christian beliefs. Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and clean food service equipment according to established cleaning schedule.
• Wash, clean and dry pots, pans and other food service equipment and store equipment once clean and dry.
• Remove trash and herbage as directed; flatten all sanitation standards according to the established cleaning schedule.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor and residents.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Conduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment.

Essential Qualifications

• Christ-Centered: Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
• Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g., daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.).
• Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement.
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment.
• Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.
• Washington State Food Handler’s Permit.

Other Considerations

• Read, write, communicate and interpret English at a functional level.
• Able to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents.
• Ability to pass background checks relating to DSHS Secretary’s List of Crimes and Negative Actions (WAC 388-113).

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant or Nursing Home Experience.

Pay

$17.13 – $18.25 per hour, DOE

Sign-On Bonus: $500
