Maintained Kitchen and Dining Areas
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen and dining room equipment.
- Cleans floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned.
- Promotes a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
Customer Service and Collaboration
- Works closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
- Provides high-level customer service.
General Kitchen Maintenance
- Maintains kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
- Washes and stores dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures.
- Maintains dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner.
- Keeps kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
Special Event Support
- Assists with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
- Attends pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen prior to meal service.
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
