Responsibilities
- Wash and clean utensils, tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
- Ensure the dish, equipment, and kitchen are clean and organized.
- Collect used kitchenware from kitchen areas.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines.
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate dishes).
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
- Maintain sufficient clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
- Check washing machines’ operation and report any technical/performance issues.
- Remove garbage regularly.
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
Requirements
- Must be friendly and hardworking.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand/walk/bend/stoop/climb/push/pull/twist/stretch/squat/reach, carries and lift up to 70lbs.
- Able to walk/stands/move during the entire shift.
- Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
- Able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
- Able to understand and follow the work schedule.
- Must wear nonslip shoes at all times.
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
