Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean utensils, tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Ensure the dish, equipment, and kitchen are clean and organized.
• Collect used kitchenware from kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate dishes).
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Maintain sufficient clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Check washing machines’ operation and report any technical/performance issues.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.

Requirements

• Must be friendly and hardworking.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand/walk/bend/stoop/climb/push/pull/twist/stretch/squat/reach, carries and lift up to 70lbs.
• Able to walk/stands/move during the entire shift.
• Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
• Able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
• Able to understand and follow the work schedule.
• Must wear nonslip shoes at all times.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
