About the Role

To provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our staff. Responsible for washing and cleaning all sauce dishes, pots, utensils, and cooking equipment. Will also handle general kitchen duties including stocking inventory, cleaning equipment, placing clean items in storage areas, and general maintenance of the kitchen area.

Responsibilities

• Set up dish stations according to BP’s guidelines and standards
• Ensure all kitchen utensils and containers are washed and put back in the proper storage area
• Assume 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware
• Keep the dish room clean and organized
• Handle general housekeeping as needed, including receiving and storing supplies, sweeping floors, cleaning trash cans, removing trash, and replenishing supplies when stock is low
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
• Be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines
• Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity, and conduct

Requirements

• 1 year of food retail experience in a fast-paced environment, specifically as a dishwasher
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment
• Must be able to work flexible schedules
• High School diploma preferred
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process

Physical Demands

• Ability to continuously stand or walk
• Ability to bend and lift frequently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to squat occasionally

Work Environment

• Work will be conducted in a kitchen and restaurant environment
• May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment
• May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces
• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud
