About the role

The Dishwasher position plays a vital role in keeping the kitchen operation running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless, sanitized, and ready for service.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized dish area and kitchen workspace
• Assist with trash removal, sweeping, and mopping as needed
• Restock clean items in their proper locations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Support kitchen staff by keeping stations supplied with clean equipment
• Handle dishware and kitchen tools carefully to minimize breakage
• Occasionally assist with basic prep or other back-of-house duties as directed

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual, with good time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety
