About the role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas, and front and back exterior areas associated with the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing, pot washing, and general and equipment cleaning
• Store and rotate food and supplies
• Handle janitorial duties in dining services areas and exterior restaurant spaces
• Comply with sanitary procedures and standards as per federal, state, and local regulations
• Handle multiple priorities and perform related tasks as requested

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in hospitality preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 45 lbs., and perform tasks in hot, wet, and damp environments
• Written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management
• Organizational and time management skills, along with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
