Dishwasher
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
- Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
- Create genuine rapport with our guests and catering to all galley requests in an efficient manner.
- May be required to perform other functions, such as greeting guests upon embarkation, and providing assistance during special events including but not limited to afternoon teas and snacks and participating in evening entertainment.
Qualifications
- You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
- You must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- The job requires the ability to live and satisfactorily perform job duties in an environment that is subject to constant motion.
- The job requires the ability to work around 12 hours per day.
- The job requires the ability to assist in the event of an on-board emergency by quickly climbing up a ladder, opening, and passing through a 20” diameter hatch.
- The job requires the ability to stand for your entire shift.
- The job requires the ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- The job requires the ability to frequently bend, squat and reach.
- The job requires the ability to live and work on board a vessel for extended periods of time.
- The job requires the ability to use stairs frequently.
Pay, Benefits & Schedule
- Pay: Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week with additional bonuses.
