About the role

At MadTree, we're seeking dependable, hard-working team members who take pride in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for whatever the night throws at us.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain our industrial dish machine efficiently.
- Clean and sanitize all dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and additional items as assigned.
- Maintain organized dish areas and storage systems.
- Support kitchen prep tasks as needed.
- Monitor chemical levels and cleaning supply inventory.
- Follow proper chemical safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit and surrounding areas.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles.
- Support kitchen team during peak service periods.
- Monitor equipment operation and report maintenance needs.
- Practice proper safety and sanitation procedures.
- Execute opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Participate in training and knowledge development programs.
- Be ready and willing to help with other kitchen duties as needed.
- Spend time volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous dish experience preferred.
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment
The work environment is usually that of a restaurant kitchen. The work environment includes exposure to heat, water, and cleaning chemicals. The employee frequently works on wet floors. The position requires extended periods of standing and walking.
