Dish Machine Operator (DMO)

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain the dish machine — load, run, and unload to keep everything spotless and sanitized
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items to meet top-tier cleanliness standards
• Keep the dish pit, floors, and back-of-house areas clean and organized
• Assist with food prep tasks like parboiling and salad assembly
• Sort and remove trash, maintain soak tubs, and restock clean dishes to the line
• Complete daily food safety logs and uphold all health and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with a supportive kitchen team that values communication and teamwork

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Food Handler Certification
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Activities: Bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), carry, push, climb, reach, kneel, stoop, walk, stand, climb stairs
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, sit, handle/finger, reach outward/above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat/kneel, bend
• Lift/Carry: 10 lbs or less, 11–20 lbs, 21–50 lbs, 51–100 lbs
• Push/Pull: 12 lbs or less, 13–25 lbs, 26–40 lbs, 41–100 lbs
• Other: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
