- Provide database administration support to include, but not limited to, the following activities:
- Aid in managing Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, including setting up security, creating tables, indexes, stored procedures, designing SQL reports, and creating maintenance jobs.
- Apply best practices for optimizing databases.
- Aid in creating and maintaining databases in a Clustered Server environment.
- Apply expert knowledge of the design, development, and maintenance of various data models and their components.
- Apply working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse, and data mart architectures, metadata, and data modeling, data flow, entity relationship diagrams, schema architectures, and query languages to integrate a seamless solution within legacy infrastructure.
- Mirror database servers, log shipping, latest techniques for Database redundancy and high Availability, and full backup and recovery capabilities of the Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 platform.
- Facilitate the migration of systems into cloud infrastructure.
- Upgrade SQL Servers from lower versions to the latest version (version 2019 and up), and create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Set up a reporting server and be responsible for all DBA functions and report development utilizing Software Systems development Architecture and Design.

$142,100 - $192,850 a year

Requirements
Must have the following qualifications:
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
- Knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse, and data mart architectures.
- Experience with data modeling and query languages.
- Experience with database mirroring, log shipping, and high Availability techniques.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure migration.
- Experience with upgrading SQL Servers to the latest version.
- Experience with creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience with setting up and managing reporting servers.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in database administration.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize databases.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and query languages.
- Experience with data lake, data warehouse, and data mart architectures.
- Experience with database mirroring, log shipping, and high Availability techniques.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure migration.
- Experience with upgrading SQL Servers to the latest version.
- Experience with creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience with setting up and managing reporting servers.
