Discovery Attorney (eDiscovery, Fact Research, & Writing), Enhanced Associate Solutions (EAS)

Our lawyers work on a variety of litigation-related matters for Fortune 500 clients and AMLAW 200 law firms, such as large-scale cases, internal investigations, and regulatory/compliance matters. This is not a first-level review document review service.
About the role
EAS has an ongoing need for Discovery Attorneys, with strong preference given to candidates who have immediate availability. Typically, EAS matters last at least 2-4 weeks with the opportunity for extension with the same or other clients/projects. Often, successful EAS Bench members are rolled from one project to another and/or placed with a specific client for a period of time.
Support multinational clients on dynamic project work that varies in length and is conducted remotely or on-site depending on client needs. Hours are variable in a consultancy role; commitment may range from part-time to full-time based on project requirements. Engagements provide professional immersion in diverse corporate cultures and industries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for depositions, conduct fact research, and draft fact memoranda
- Manage all phases of the EDRM, including identification, preservation, collection, review, production of documents, and quality assurance testing of coding calls
- Negotiate ESI protocols and test keyword searches
- Communicate confidently in writing and verbally with all levels of law firm professionals
- Manage document review at a law firm, in-house legal department, or consulting firm
Requirements
- JD Degree from an accredited institution
- Active bar license in good standing
- Interest in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model
- 3+ years of substantive law experience in litigation or investigations at a major U.S. law firm, government, or an in-house legal department
- 3+ years of experience with eDiscovery, database tools, and an interest in certifications
- Strong knowledge of the discovery process
- Strong experience in Relativity and familiarity with other eDiscovery tools
