  • Develop discovery strategies for matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, and high-net-worth marital estates.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, clients, opposing counsel, and third-party experts to obtain and organize discovery.
  • Review document productions and identify missing or deficient responses.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda related to discovery disputes and procedural issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure and court-ordered deadlines.
  • Assist trial attorneys in preparing cases for mediation, settlement conferences, and trial.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Arizona (required).
  • 2+ years of experience handling discovery in family law or civil litigation.
  • Strong experience drafting and responding to written discovery.
  • Experience reviewing financial documentation, including tax returns, business records, banking records, and asset documentation.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Family law experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with high-asset divorce, business valuation, complex financial discovery, or contested custody matters.
  • Familiarity with Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure.
  • Experience with legal case management software and electronic document management systems.

Benefits

  • 100% remote opportunity with flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
  • Collaborative team focused exclusively on family law.
  • Meaningful work helping clients navigate some of the most important moments of their lives.
  • Opportunity to specialize in the discovery side of sophisticated family law litigation while maintaining excellent work-life balance.
