Disaster Case Manager

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive case management services to disaster survivors and their families, focusing on advocacy, crisis intervention, and recovery support.

Responsibilities

• Conducting needs assessments
• Developing and monitoring recovery plans
• Offering referrals to local, state, and federal resources
• Assisting clients with applications for benefits
• Building strong relationships with clients to guide them toward self‑sufficiency
• Providing home visits
• Acting as a liaison with service providers and community groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or three years of relevant experience
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English
• Knowledge of social service systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check and comply with safety guidelines
