Director/Vice President, Credit

About the role

The Director/Vice President, Credit will lead the credit risk management function, overseeing credit policies, underwriting processes, and credit risk assessment. This individual will also be responsible for managing relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive credit policies and procedures
• Oversee the underwriting process for new and existing clients
• Manage and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Assess and mitigate credit risks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in credit risk management or financial analysis
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with credit risk modeling and analysis tools

Qualifications

• Knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices
• Experience with credit scoring models and algorithms
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with enterprise credit risk management systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
