About the role
Join us as a senior US Corporate Derivatives Sales professional, originating and executing derivatives and risk management solutions for US corporate customers. You’ll collaborate closely with DCM originators, Rates and FX Sales and Trading, Corporate Bankers, Syndicate, and business partners in Counterparty Exposure Management, Legal, and Risk. This role offers strong career-development potential as you help grow a focused and expanding franchise.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Derivatives Sales and Risk Management contact for the bank’s corporate customer base, ensuring strong and growing customer relationships.
- Deliver budgeted revenue through thoughtful client advice, proactive coverage, and strong execution.
- Drive new business for the franchise through targeted client prospecting.
- Support and maintain a robust risk control environment, ensuring activity aligns with policy, regulation, and best practices.
- Undertake periodic business-related projects to support analysis and the ongoing development of the franchise.
- Support the development of junior talent by providing guidance, oversight, and coaching.
- Ensure NatWest Markets delivers consistently high standards of customer service across the full transaction lifecycle.
- Act with integrity, due skill, care, and diligence while developing, deepening, and institutionalizing strong client relationships.
- Maintain close, collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders to deliver joined-up client outcomes.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience in derivatives sales and execution within an investment banking environment.
- Strong track record of transaction execution and client coverage.
- Enjoyment of working within a collaborative, high-energy team to deliver high-quality client outcomes and advance shared commercial goals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and confidence to take on broad responsibilities in a growing platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS).
- Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
Pay
The expected base annual salary range for this position is $300,000 – $350,000 at the start of employment. Exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
