Director, University Talent Program Leader

Role

You set the vision and lead execution of Fidelity’s enterprise early talent strategy, including the FIDTERN internship program. You develop how Fidelity attracts, engages, and converts early career talent at scale—directly influencing our future workforce. You lead a team of 3 plus and work closely with leaders across Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance, Marketing, and business stakeholders.

Expertise and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8–12 plus years of experience in talent, program leadership, or workforce strategy; early career experience preferred
• Proven success leading large, high-impact programs
• Strong critical thinking and ability to connect talent work to business outcomes
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with leaders at all levels
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions
• Passion for building inclusive, high-quality candidate experiences
• High level of ownership and accountability

Team

The Enterprise Talent Acquisition team attracts and hires talent across Fidelity. The University Talent team builds early career pipelines and partners across the business to meet current and future talent needs. As Director, you lead a key part of this work—ensuring our early talent programs are connected, effective, and positioned to support long-term growth.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
