Based in our new Houston office on Allen Parkway, this role follows a hybrid model—combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the VP – Treasurer and CFO in managing debt-related transactions at both corporate and project levels.
- Manage and lead relationships with all three credit rating agencies (Moody’s, S&P, and Fitch).
- Provide strong leadership in process improvement, workflow streamlining, and system implementations.
- Manage a team of analysts, offering mentorship and career development support.
- Develop corporate finance analyses related to cost of capital, interest rate hedging, liquidity, capital allocation, and leverage.
- Assist and coordinate executive reporting, including debt compliance scorecards, external financial reporting footnotes, and disclosures.
- Lead the company’s medium-term cash forecast by refining existing processes and aligning with longer-term projections and near-term estimates.
- Develop relationships across the organization to influence desired outcomes.
- Drive capital markets diligence to optimize liquidity, evaluate transactional opportunities, and manage scenarios/sensitivities.
- Oversee debt compliance, covenant calculation, scenario planning, and review/submission of periodic compliance certificates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business field (required).
- Team player who shares knowledge, mentors, and trains others.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with minimal supervision required.
- Strong project management skills and leadership to coordinate tasks across multiple groups.
- Working knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ETRM, ERP, and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Capital Markets, or Project Finance.
- Energy industry experience is helpful but not mandatory.
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting (favorable) or equivalent practical experience.
