Primary Responsibilities
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives focused on private credit and private markets data, including data lineage, governance, and architecture enhancements.
- Partner closely with Origination, Product Structuring, Portfolio Management, and Data & Quantitative teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that support investment and portfolio management processes.
- Serve as the primary project lead for complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring delivery against timelines, scope, budget, and key performance indicators.
- Develop and document current-state and target-state data workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance data quality, accessibility, and transparency across the private markets platform.
- Drive the implementation of scalable data frameworks supporting deal lifecycle management, portfolio analytics, and investor reporting.
- Establish best practices in project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management across enterprise data initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and analyses to support strategic decision-making and transformation priorities.
- Collaborate with technology and data teams to align business requirements with enterprise data architecture and analytics platforms.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, data integrity, and operational excellence across Apollo’s private credit and private markets ecosystem.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or operations within alternative asset management, private markets or financial services.
- Deep understanding of private credit, private markets, and alternative asset management data ecosystems, including deal lifecycle, portfolio management, and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
- Prominent ability to collaborate with investment professionals, including origination, structuring, and portfolio management teams.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in finance, business, data science, or a related field.
- Experience working with private credit or structured products data, including asset-backed finance, direct lending, or opportunistic credit strategies.
- Experience supporting regulatory, investor reporting, or portfolio analytics within alternative asset management.
Pay Range
250,000 - 275,000
