Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transaction strategies
- Partner with business leaders to align real estate decisions with workforce and operational needs
- Oversee transactions from initial underwriting through execution and close
- Manage broker relationships
- Negotiate directly with landlords and ownership groups
- Cook up deals involving lease negotiations, renewals, restructurings, extensions, and relocations
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams
- Ensure consistency with corporate real estate strategy
- Analyze market conditions
- Evaluate financial structures
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Support portfolio optimization initiatives
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in commercial real estate transactions, leasing, or contract negotiations for large national retailers
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex lease agreements and driving transaction strategy
- Advanced financial acumen and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable real estate solutions
- Strong leadership skills, including influencing senior stakeholders, managing external partners, and driving alignment across competing priorities
- The ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- ICSC Membership preferred, not required

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $103,000-211,000 USD per year.
Schedule
Fidelity's Onsite Working Model: Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
