As the Director, Transaction Advisory Services and Financial Due Diligence, you will lead the financial due diligence process, uncovering key value drivers for clients and playing a pivotal role in M&A execution and strategic finance. This position offers the opportunity to disrupt the FDD industry while managing client relationships, analyzing historical performance, and shaping future projections. You will provide actionable insights to clients at early engagement stages, often starting with internal quality of earnings assessments, and become a trusted advisor for critical business decisions.

  • Analyze financial and operational results through accounting records and management interviews.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with client leadership and key staff.
  • Identify opportunities where Embarc’s financial and strategic services (e.g., capital raising, M&A, and strategic finance) may accelerate the client’s strategic plan.
  • Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to client leadership.
  • Spearhead complex strategic analysis, quantitative analysis, and robust financial modeling to produce meaningful insights addressing clients’ challenges.
  • Translate complex strategic and financial analysis into insightful reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders, facilitating decision-making.
  • Identify post-acquisition action steps to achieve anticipated earnings and cash flow improvements.
  • Evaluate effects of seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements.
  • Perform industry and company research to keep Embarc and its clients informed of market insights.
  • Create tailored transaction advisory reports on normalized earnings, financial reporting, working capital trends, and indebtedness considerations.
  • Lead cross-functional project management from end to end, communicating recommendations and driving outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
