Description

The Private Client Tax Director at Forvis Mazars provides sophisticated tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to individuals, multi-generational families, fiduciaries, and more. They partner with financial planners, Wealth Strategists, and Innovation teams to offer comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
• 9+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting
• Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in related field

Skills

Significant knowledge of taxation compliance and consulting related to personal, partnership, trust, estate, gift, wealth retention strategies as well as charitable entities managed by ultra-high net worth clients. Ability to conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters, apply insights to client engagements, and communicate findings clearly through well-structured written reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.
