About the role
The Woman's Hospital of Texas is seeking a Director Surgical Services to lead their surgical services department. Responsibilities
- Oversee the surgical services department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives related to women's health.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in surgical services management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
