Director, Supply Chain Strategy

About the role

Responsible for driving the development and execution of supply chain strategies that maximize service, efficiency, resilience, and alignment with organizational goals. Lead cross-functional teams to implement transformative initiatives, optimize operational leverage, and accelerate business growth. Champion process improvements and innovation across purchasing, transportation, distribution center operations, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Sets the strategic direction for supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Led cross-functional teams in the analysis and implement strategic initiatives in inventory management, logistics, transportation, and warehouse optimization.
• Develops robust business cases for change, clearly articulating value and resolving barriers to execution.
• Evaluates and enhances supplier relationships, focusing on best value, including service, quality, and methods to improve productivity.
• Drives change management efforts to ensure seamless transitions and adoption of new strategies.
• Pairs with the business to create detailed, actionable supply chain plans that support both short-term and long-term organizational needs.

Requirements

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally, 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of experience in supply chain, operations strategy, or corporate/business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Certification and demonstrated application preferred.
