Director Supply Chain Management
Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain Management will support a $1.6B business with 2,500 employees in North America. They will provide strategic and operational leadership over end-to-end supply chain activities, aligning these activities with business and financial goals.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business and financial goals.
Lead demand and supply planning, inventory management, and network optimization.
Oversee procurement, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Manage logistics, distribution, and transportation strategy.
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.
Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs and performance dashboards.
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Engineering.
Lead, develop, and mentor supply chain leaders and teams.
Develop a profit plan forecast for the following year and drive achievement during the current year - 24-month rolling, including a 5-year Strategic Plan.
Develop and deploy regional SCM strategy along with commodity category leaders to deliver YOY cost reduction and meet profit plan commitments for the business.
Frame global business opportunities and support growth of product families inside and outside of all relevant GEIS networks.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain or operations experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior leadership or director-level roles.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and planning processes.
Proven ability to lead transformation and change initiatives.
SIOP experience and success leading the process.
Likely to be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Education
An undergraduate degree is required.
A Master’s degree is preferred.
Compensation
The expected annual salary range for this role is $182,000 - $266,000 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Location
This position will be based in Syracuse, NY. It can also be based in other Eaton hub locations.
