Job Duties
- Lead contract management functions across the organization, ensuring consistent execution of contract lifecycle activities from drafting through renewal or termination.
- Establish and oversee frameworks, standards, and processes for contract development, negotiation, approval, and administration.
- Oversee negotiation of complex contracts, balancing financial, operational, and risk considerations to support business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies across all agreements.
- Provide leadership on contract-related risks, issues, and escalations, driving resolution through cross-functional coordination.
- Partner with stakeholders to align contract structures and terms with business needs, service delivery expectations, and financial goals.
- Oversee contract tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring, using data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure accurate documentation and management of contracts, including amendments, renewals, and version control within centralized repositories.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Support financial oversight related to contracts, including cost optimization and value realization from agreements.
- Lead and develop managers and/or senior professionals, fostering strong capability and accountability across the function.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, legal operations, or related fields
- Minimum 4+ years of experience leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management
- Strong expertise in contract lifecycle management, negotiation, and governance practices
- Ability to interpret complex contract language and assess risk and compliance implications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving contract issues and optimizing outcomes
- Experience with contract management systems and tools for tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including engagement with senior leaders
- Ability to balance strategic priorities with operational execution in a dynamic environment
