TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Director Strategic Sourcing in Atlanta, GA.

This position will be responsible for leading the transformation of TKE NA indirect procurement spend into a best-in-class sourcing model that captures cost savings, spend discipline, demand management, and value creation, while driving procurement innovation to achieve total cost of ownership targets.

This transformation will drive best-in-class Cost, Quality, and Service Delivery from our supplier base across all indirect categories for internal TKE business partners. The Director of Indirect Spend (including professional services, Fleet, IT, MRO, facilities, logistics support services, and corporate services) will collaborate and partner with Strategic Sourcing, Center of Excellence, and Procurement Field Operations teams within PSM to leverage enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and compliance through procurement platforms.

This is an executive leadership role with broad enterprise visibility, supporting business units in developing and executing category strategies in a fast-paced, evolving organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define overall procurement strategic direction for planning, organizing, leading, measuring, and analyzing the sourcing of indirect spend categories.
  • Lead and develop multi-disciplinary category teams across key indirect spend areas, enhancing cross-functional engagement and stakeholder alignment.
  • Formulate category strategies, recommend and implement solutions, and continuously adjust based on business needs and market dynamics.
  • Develop and implement business plans and budgets, including long-range objectives, performance metrics, and value targets by collaborating with Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations across services-based and indirect supplier ecosystems.
  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned to TKE business priorities.
  • Drive tracking and reporting for indirect spend areas and ensure compliance.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for market intelligence across indirect categories.
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, and governance processes.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships and manage executive-level engagements.
  • Drive supplier performance management programs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement demand management and spend discipline.
  • Embed sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
  • Ensure alignment with procurement policies and governance frameworks.
  • Maximize procurement tools and P2P systems.
  • Establish and standardize procurement policies and procedures.
  • Build strong internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Leverage analytics and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or Engineering is required. Master of Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications: APICS, CPSM, CPSD, or equivalent procurement certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 15+ years of strategic sourcing and supplier management experience with a focus on indirect procurement. Transformational leadership in indirect procurement operating models. Deep expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies for indirect spend. Proven ability to develop category strategies across IT, services, facilities, and MRO etc.
  • Skills: Expert understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, practices, and the value and use of procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms. Excellent understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes and strategies. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences. Excellent negotiation skills up to the executive level and understanding of supplier contract management. Proven ability to structure and negotiate commercial terms (pricing, SLAs, risk, and governance) to optimize total value while balancing service delivery and business objectives. A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself. Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, and contract management systems required.
