About the role
As Director of Strategic Programs & Transformation, you will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve operational performance, optimize business processes, and drive strategic growth across a global organization. The PMO is an excellence hub for managing strategic and complex internal programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from planning to implementation, including projects in the areas of process optimization, reorganization, portfolio and footprint rationalization, and establishment of new operating models.
- Work globally, across business lines and functions, to find optimal solutions for the Diagnostics Business Area and Siemens Healthineers, overall.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Diagnostics leaders, influencing strategic decisions and helping shape the future direction of the business.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify improvement opportunities and develop project roadmaps to leverage those.
- Blend the strategic mindset of a leader with the practical skills of a Project Manager to translate high-level business goals into concrete projects.
- Find creative solutions to complex problems, ensuring successful project outcomes that contribute significantly to the organization's success.
- Report to the Head of the Project Management Office and interface with the Diagnostics Management.
Requirements
- Proven project management skills, preferably gained in large scale improvement and transformation projects.
- Ability to lead high-complexity projects and create impact in a global matrix organization.
- Result-oriented, enjoys cross-functional teamwork, and drives change and stakeholder management to achieve lasting project outcomes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive change on various hierarchy levels and across functions, businesses, and geographies.
- Excellent analytics, conceptual, and creative problem-solving skills combined with an “getting things done” mindset.
Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree and an MBA or other advanced science/engineering degree.
- Significant experience leading enterprise transformation, business optimization, strategy, or operational excellence initiatives within a consulting firm, healthcare organization, industrial company, or similarly complex global environment.
- Project Management and Continuous Improvement certificates, such as PMP, LEAN Six Sigma, etc.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Pay
The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $154,180 - $212,003. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
