Director-Sr Rehab (Sr. DOR)

Responsibilities

• Supervises DORs in assigned accounts providing orientation, mentoring and training.
• Provides direct patient care.
• Makes sure the quality of care is good and follows rules.
• Manages the money and makes sure the rehab services are profitable.
• Ensures high-quality care is given consistently.
• Checks that DORs complete yearly reviews of therapy staff.
• Helps DORs with hiring and firing therapy staff.
• Guarantees DORs report facility information regularly.
• Supports COAD in preparing budgets and finding new contracts.
• Works with COAD to manage important customer relationships.
• Does other jobs as needed.

Qualifications

• Has a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
• Holds initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
• Has a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license or physical therapy license in the state of practice.
• Has at least three years of direct patient care experience and two years of management experience.
• Is licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
