Director, Specialty Clinics, Group Operations
About the role
The Director, Group Operations is responsible for the continuous, effective operations of all physician group practice offices directly assigned to position. May include primary care and/or specialty care group practice locations with focus on several offices in various locations. Works with Chief Operating Officer, front line managers and staff to improve the quality of care, strengthen the financial performance of the group practice offices, and to improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. In conjunction with medical staff leadership, including Senior Medical Director, Physician Department Chairs and Physician Team Leaders, develops and implements business plans for existing and future departments and programs. Leads by example. Works with the team to reduce infrastructure and to promote high value performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health or other related field is required; Master’s degree in health, nursing, business, public administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum five years progressive experience in management of physician practices, clinics, or hospital appropriate departments preferred.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, contract negotiations, business plan development, and practice management/electronic health records systems preferred.
- Experience with leading and implementing projects.
- Experience in specialty(s) of assigned physician offices preferred, i.e., family practice/primary care, medical specialties, and/or surgical specialties.
