Director of Clinic Operations
About the role
The Director of Clinic Operations provides operational oversight and strategic leadership for a network of ambulatory clinics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President or Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for driving performance across clinical, financial, and administrative domains. The Director leads a team of clinic managers and collaborates with physicians, staff, and executive leadership to optimize workflows, enhance patient experience, and achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence across clinics by standardizing policies, procedures, and performance metrics, while overseeing key functions including finance, marketing, HR, IT, and ancillary services.
- Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders - while collaborating with clinical dyads and executive leadership to foster provider engagement and alignment, and representing service lines in professional organizations and strategic partnerships.
- Lead the creation and execution of innovative care models and service delivery enhancements, support managed care and third-party contracting initiatives, and contribute to compensation and reimbursement strategies as needed.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, while maintaining accountability for meeting approved performance targets and reporting outcomes.
- Support strategic initiatives to improve clinical, operational, and financial performance, expand market access, and drive innovation and quality through collaboration with clinical dyads and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required or comparable years of related experience
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration or related clinical area preferred
- 5-7 years' experience in healthcare administration/management

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $124,425.60 - $179,046.40 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
