Responsibilities
- Lead Client-Facing Engineering Engagements and Presentations — Serve as the lead in client meetings, coordinating internal SMEs to communicate solutions effectively, deliver briefings and design reviews, and manage client relationships with clarity and confidence.
- Support All Facility Types — Oversee design and engineering efforts for greenfield builds, retrofits, and special projects, incorporating next-generation technologies such as liquid-cooled GPU environments and other high-density workload needs.
- Translate Complex Needs into Solutions — Partner with clients to understand, refine, and translate requirements into actionable designs and project plans.
- Develop and Negotiate Technical Lease Provisions and SLAs — Integrate lease and SLA discussions into client engagements to ensure clear, consistent, and precise technical terms through execution.
- Manage Cross-Functional Technical Teams — Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, architectural, and controls engineering to deliver cohesive, high-quality, and efficient design solutions.
- Ensure Design and Contract Governance — Oversee the engineering and contracting lifecycle, maintaining alignment with STACK standards, technical accuracy, and client objectives.
- Facilitate SME Presentations, Call on Technical Leads, Maintain Meeting Scope and Time Control — Lead and structure technical review meetings, framing objectives, decision criteria, and expected outcomes.
- Translate Technical Language Across Disciplines and for Non-Technical Stakeholders — Ensure full comprehension and traceability of decisions.
- Document Decisions and Actions in Real Time; Track Follow-Ups Through the Project Delivery System — Synthesize technical input into clear project recommendations, capturing what was decided, why, and what it impacts (cost, schedule, compliance, reliability).
- Identify Cross-Discipline Integration Risks Early — Particularly around power, cooling, and infrastructure interfaces.
- Maintain Neutrality in Technical Discussions, Guide Consensus, Link Engineering Outcomes to Client Priorities and Contractual Requirements — Ensure proactive resolution of cross-discipline conflicts before design freeze.
