This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $238,000 – $322,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute access strategies for product launch phases
- Lead strategic initiatives for key accounts within the region
- Create plans to expedite the transition from FDA approval to coverage determination
- Build strong relationships with payers and policy decision-makers
- Design multi-year access strategies that align with market dynamics
- Educate payers on clinical evidence and treatment guidelines for coverage
- Coordinate engagement strategies with internal cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) preferred
- 15+ years in pharma/biotech; minimum 10 years in payer account management
- Proven record of achieving coverage outcomes for orphan or rare disease products
- Experience creating pre-launch payer strategies
- Hands-on experience with miscellaneous J codes (J3490/J3590) and their transition
- Strong knowledge of managed care economics and coverage policy development processes
- Experience in startup or early-stage biotech environments, particularly within pediatric or neurological disease sectors
