You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pre-launch and launch access strategies for key accounts
- Act as the primary strategic leader for regional accounts
- Create account-specific action plans to expedite coverage determinations post-FDA approval
- Build relationships with payers and establish company credibility in the medical policy space
- Educate payers on clinical evidence and health-economic data to support favorable coverage
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on commercial strategies and execution needs
- Conduct all payer engagements in compliance with relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) preferred
- 15+ years in pharma/biotech; minimum 10 years in payer account management
- Proven track record achieving positive coverage outcomes for rare disease products
- Pre-launch payer strategy experience is essential
- Hands-on experience with miscellaneous J code environments
- Strong knowledge of managed care economics and coverage policy processes
- Experience in early commercial-stage biotech or startup environments

$238,000 – $322,000 annually
