About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director/senior Director National Accounts - Central to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pre-launch access strategies for key accounts
- Serve as strategic leader for regional key accounts
- Create action plans to expedite coverage post-FDA approval
- Establish payer relationships and credibility with decision-makers
- Educate payers on clinical evidence and health-economic data to support coverage decisions
- Collaborate across teams to align on access strategies and execution
- Ensure compliance with regulations while navigating complex access pathways
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) preferred
- 15+ years in pharma/biotech; minimum 10 years in payer account management
- Proven track record of achieving positive coverage outcomes for orphan designation or rare disease products
- Pre-launch payer strategy experience
- Hands-on experience navigating a miscellaneous J code (J3490/J3590) environment
- Strong command of managed care economics and formulary management processes
- Passion for patient access and rare-disease impact

Pay
$238,000 – $322,000 annually
