About the role

This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy for a growing product
  • Enhance commercial reporting infrastructure for real-time performance insights
  • Conduct detailed analyses to reveal opportunities and diagnose performance gaps
  • Produce and present key performance indicator reports for senior leadership
  • Lead sales analytics to improve field performance and investment evaluations
  • Refine patient forecast models integrating diverse data sources for accuracy
  • Oversee competitive intelligence activities to guide brand strategy and messaging

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD) strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial analytics and insights in biotech/pharma, particularly related to rare diseases
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in analytics or insights roles
  • Experience in post-launch commercial product support, focusing on performance tracking and optimization
  • Familiarity with rare disease data sources and epidemiology-based forecasting techniques

Pay

$230,000 – $280,000 annually
