Director, Sales Mid Markets

As a Director of Enterprise Midmarket Sales at Spectrum Business, you will guide high-performing client-focused teams, develop sales talent, and implement strategies to maximize the sales cycle. Responsibilities
- Complete a 10-week paid sales training program recognized with a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.
- Coach and direct sales teams to achieve or exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on direct sales and account management strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities through the development of a strategic vision.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase sales.
- Manage field-based sales activities with fluidity between home, client locations, and office, primarily focusing on client-facing work.
- Oversee sales activity, pipeline progression, performance management policies, and regular reporting.
- Direct the proposal process, including effective tracking of RFPs and supervising the development of NPV and IRR data.
- Exceed sales goals through inspiring sales leadership, strategic planning, and formulating sales model standards.
- Develop detailed and lucrative business sales processes within your region.
- Provide mentorship, sales training, and constructive feedback to sales teams.
Requirements
- Five or more years of sales leadership experience managing business accounts and sales teams.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and executing tactical sales plans with an emphasis on overachievement in a telecommunications or technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in computer networking and fiber-connected networks.
- Strong leadership, finance, and English communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with the ability to guide proposals of products and solutions for business-class segments.
- Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
