Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
- Lead sales-focused training workshops, consulting and sales coaching that help advisory firms strengthen business development practices, improve sales processes, and drive client acquisition and growth.
- Partner with firm leadership to implement structured sales disciplines, including pipeline management, client engagement strategies, and repeatable processes that improve business outcomes.
- Facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and seminars, both virtual and in-person, using interactive techniques, real-world and strong group facilitation skills.
- Design and develop scalable sales training curriculum and learning assets based on a proven history of successfully having helped other financial services firms increase sales, including presentations, tools, and other resources that support advisor adoption and implementation.
- Drive meaningful client outcomes by ensuring training workshops and consulting reflect a genuine understanding of each client’s goals, translating them into behavioral change, and delivering measurable impact and a high-quality client experience.
- Build strong relationships and credibility with advisors and internal partners, serving as a trusted resource and collaborating closely with Relationship Managers to deepen engagement.
- Identify opportunities to expand consulting and training adoption across advisor relationships, contributing to client growth and broader business impact.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in sales training, consulting, facilitation, or other client-facing roles.
- Strong experience as a subject matter expert on sales processes and execution, as well as client acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated success balancing training, consulting, facilitation, and relationship management in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, with the ability to deliver engaging workshops, scalable learning experiences, and supporting resources.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including success presenting to senior executives.
- The ability to quickly establish trust and credibility with internal partners, listen deeply, and tailor recommendations and implementation strategies to each client’s unique business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining organization, follow-through, urgency, persistence, and accountability, including navigating obstacles creatively to maintain progress and drive outcomes.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 70%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in wealth management, financial services, preferably in the RIA industry.
- An MBA and/or a clear understanding of business fundamentals (e.g. financial statements, business functions, organization structure).
- Experience with sales training methodologies or frameworks.
- Experience developing a sales point of view and translating that into a structured, focused on actionable next steps.
Pay
This role is eligible for a base salary, as well as bonus or incentive opportunities.
Schedule
This is a remote position with up to 70% travel around the United States.
