About the role
Directs and manages the Security Department's daily operations within the hospital and assigned campus locations while ensuring that Federal, State, Local, and Joint Commission regulations and standards of performance are met. Oversees all assigned security and security-related services as well as supervisory staff dealing with hospital-wide safety and emergency management functions. Directs the security coordinator, private branch exchange department and valet services in support of a safe environment of care for all patients, visitors, and associates of Kendall Regional Medical Center.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED Required
- College degree in Safety, Security Management, Engineering or related field Preferred
- Three years of experience in Health and Safety or Security Required
- Three years of experience in healthcare Preferred
- One year of Joint Commission survey experience Preferred
