Director RN Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Develops departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements.
• Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.
• Prepares and monitors budget(s) and ensures operational efficiency within allocated funds.
• Collaborates with physicians, administration, and directors to streamline operations and optimize resource utilization.
• Works collaboratively to remove obstacles and achieve clinical quality, service excellence, and financial effectiveness targets.
• Hires, trains, directs, develops, and evaluates staff.

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing. At least 3 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required, with at least 2 years in leadership/management roles.
