Director, Risk Strategy & Execution

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief Risk Officer to develop organizational strategy and execution plans
• Identify and drive improvements in organizational effectiveness and collaboration
• Lead strategic initiatives spanning various business functions
• Translate technical work into clear business strategies and actionable plans
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize risk initiatives
• Create frameworks for evaluating tradeoffs between business objectives
• Communicate organization priorities and progress through executive presentations

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or risk within FinTech or financial services
• Experience working directly with senior executives on organizational strategy and planning
• Strong knowledge of financial services risk across Fraud, Credit, Collections, Payments, or Operational Risk
• Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to solve complex problems
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for executive influence
• Proven ability to build alignment among diverse teams without direct authority
• Comfortable using data and analytical tools including SQL
