About the role

The Director, Revenue Optimization sets pricing and go-to-market strategy across multiple product and business lines. This role requires a revenue-maximization mindset—not price-maximization—and extends PDS Health's leadership in building the next phase of integrated healthcare. This role uses in-depth economic, market, and statistical analysis to shape go-to-market and pricing strategies for PDS Health and its business lines, including dental, medical, payor, tech, and innovation. Recommendations span existing business lines as well as cross-department and new product opportunities. This role also develops bundled, branded dental and health plan recommendations that deliver world-class patient care and value for the payer, while helping PDS Health meet its revenue and margin targets.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional operators, market leaders, professional partnerships and payers to drive product and services revenue growth in line with enterprise strategy.
  • Work with senior management to develop market strategies and tactics that support growth of existing products and plans.
  • Identify opportunities where new products can meet the needs of emerging or existing stakeholders.
  • Communicate how changes or new products contribute to market growth and profitability.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and adjust strategy to maximize revenue.
  • Lead through a combination of direct reports, subject matter expertise and professional influence.
  • Assess new markets and initiatives and analyze business opportunities.
  • Drive the specifications and timelines essential to growth and successful program rollout.
  • Use executive-level communication and storytelling to lead training sessions and explain new products and product changes.
  • Prepare market-facing materials that explain new products and product changes.
  • Educate PDS Health team members (clinical and operational) on existing plan-negotiated benefits.
  • Stay current on trends affecting dental insurance and plans (e.g., the Affordable Care Act, Accountable Care Organizations).
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for core human resources functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance development, policy compliance, and workforce planning, to support organizational goals and a positive employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and standards, as well as state, federal and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) from an accredited college in business administration or related field of study. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.
  • 8+ years of related professional experience.

  • Commercialization or related experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.

  • Able to build strategic relationships and increase awareness of the profile, messaging and positioning of the PDS Health brand.
  • Proactive, offering meaningful alternatives to current practices and programs, along with the strategic and tactical plans needed to execute them.
  • Excellent negotiation, group facilitation, and written and verbal communication skills.

$194,000.00 - $262,000.00 / Annually
