Responsibilities
- Own the entire collections process and ensure accurate cash flow forecasts
- Establish and uphold a disciplined collections engine to minimize revenue loss
- Identify and solve bottlenecks to reduce denials and shorten AR timelines
- Collaborate with growth teams for successful client contract negotiation
- Address complex billing disputes effectively to secure favorable outcomes
- Serve as the main escalation point for client billing challenges
- Align billing strategies with company growth across Finance, Legal, and Ops teams
- Track and drive team KPIs related to collections and payer activities
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in revenue cycle management
- 2-3 years of management experience
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- In-depth knowledge of CMS regulations and commercial payer dynamics
- Hands-on experience with various EMR and RCM software, and health plan portals
