Director, Retirement Benefits - REMOTE

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Retirement Benefits - REMOTE to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $170,900 – $227,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategy for retirement and financial wellness programs
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to support employee retention and engagement
• Benchmark and analyze retirement programs against market practices and trends
• Lead analysis on retirement program effectiveness and savings outcomes
• Ensure timely plan operations and compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive retirement benefits experience, with significant responsibility for retirement plan design and administration
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing complex retirement programs in a large organization
• Extensive knowledge in 401(k) administration, ERISA compliance, fiduciary governance, investment oversight, and retirement plan operations
• Experience with retirement plans having assets exceeding $2B
