Responsibilities
- Serves as a strategic compliance partner, supporting the development of effective research security programs and member support services.
- Develops, enhances, implements, and maintains effective broad-based research security framework.
- Lead the development, interpretation, and implementation of system-level research security policies, standards, and guidance.
- Ensure policies and processes remain responsive to evolving federal agency expectations, regulatory changes, and emerging threats.
- Oversee the delivery of research security support services provided to member institutions, including consultation, issue resolution, and escalation support.
- Develop communication strategies and resources that translate complex requirements into practical guidance for the research enterprise.
- Lead and mentor research security professionals and support staff, fostering professional development and collaboration across institutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ten years of related experience.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective problem solver. Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with others.
