About the role
This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company's presence in the regional innovation ecosystem, sourcing aligned opportunities
- Expand strategic partnerships with universities, incubators, and investment firms to support the company's priorities
- Collaborate with TA Search Leads on regional initiatives and engagements
- Participate as a senior member in deal teams, overseeing transactions from identification to closure
- Organize and represent the company at local innovation events to enhance visibility
- Engage actively in industry bodies and associations to strengthen networks
- Provide insights on biotech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategy
Qualifications
- 12+ years in biopharma, external innovation, or business development with robust regional network knowledge
- Advanced degree required (PhD, MD, or equivalent)
- Proven track record in enhancing Pharma's reputation in biotech ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate, and execute deals
- Strong relationship-building skills with academia, biotech, and investment sectors

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $232,000 – $284,000 annually
