About the role
As Director, Quality Assurance (Quality Systems), you will lead the development and implementation of robust quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines. You will oversee the quality assurance processes across all product lines, ensuring that products meet high-quality standards from design through production.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and maintenance of quality management systems aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all product lines.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems and make necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on quality assurance principles and best practices.
- Lead the quality assurance team in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address quality issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- A proven track record of successfully leading quality assurance initiatives and improving quality systems.
- A deep understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma or CQA, are preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
