About the role
The Director of Purchasing will oversee all purchasing activities across General Atomics and its affiliated companies, ensuring efficient sourcing and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all purchasing activities including supplier management, contract negotiation, and inventory control.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective materials.
- Manage procurement processes to meet budgetary and timeline requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in aerospace or defense industry.
- Proven track record of successful supplier management and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay
$120,000 - $150,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
