About the Role
The Director, Provider Recruitment will develop and execute a system-wide recruitment strategy for both Physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APP). This role will manage the system-wide provider job requisition process and set the tone for a positive provider experience within Centralus Health.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and lead the Centralus provider recruitment strategy to increase candidate sourcing opportunities and fill provider requisitions efficiently.
- Develop a system-wide provider job requisition process with guardrails and budget-approval requirements to align with financial sustainability goals; collaborate with Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and lead a hybrid team of provider recruiters.
- Oversee the provider management system (PMS), including evaluating current partners to determine the ideal system-wide solution.
- Identify and monitor performance metrics to evaluate and track the recruitment team’s progress for leadership and the Centralus Board of Directors.
- Lead recurring meetings to report on candidate pipeline status and connected job requisitions to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with the Centralus Provider Engagement team to create a positive and smooth experience for providers.
- Research recruitment workflow issues and provide feedback/recommendations to management.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment, pivot quickly, and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field with 7+ years of healthcare experience.
- Experience managing and evaluating a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of JIRA project management system.
Location & Schedule
This is a full-time administrative position based onsite in Ithaca (CMC & Warren Road) and Elmira (AOMC) up to 3 days a week. Occasional nights and/or weekend events may be required.
