Director, Property Management

About the role

We are currently seeking a Director of Property Management who will be responsible for the daily operations and field performance of the region's portfolio. The candidate will oversee a property management staff and be accountable for their supervision, training and success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain best-in-class standards throughout the portfolio, ensuring tenant satisfaction
• Direct the operating budgets for the portfolio; including cam, capex and landlord expenses
• Interface with applicable departments (Leasing, Development, Property Administration and Finance)
• Be a proven leader, self-starter, strong communicator, highly organized, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have superior knowledge of retail commercial real estate, retail building operations, facilities and construction, accounting systems, and advanced MS Excel skills
• Have extensive knowledge and experience dealing with landlord/tenant lease language, leasehold obligations, and superior understanding of Common Area Maintenance billing and recovery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 10 years in retail property management
• Prior management of a team
• Ability to travel as needed
