Director, Project Controls

For our client, a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking a Director of Project Controls to drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. This role involves working across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track.

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Real Estate & Construction environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients to ensure project goals and objectives are met and act as a trusted advisor
• Manage project finances including budget establishment and cash flow analysis
• Oversee all stages of project management from due diligence to post-construction services
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing complex, varied project types
• Contribute to business development by identifying new project opportunities
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage their performance
• Ensure on-site supervision meets performance criteria

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred
• At least 12 years of related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in management
• Experience in Life Sciences projects is essential
• Advanced project management skills required
• Strong client relations and consulting expertise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project

Pay

$178,500 – $210,000 annually
